DrupalCamp Kyiv, 28—29 August 2009

DrupalCamp Kyiv is a two day period of close contact between the Drupal developers from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. This year the event will gather around 200 specialists and enthusiasts for communicating, experience and ideas exchange. It is an opportunity for all the community participants to get acquainted and get to know more about Drupal and the people that create and use it.

DrupalCamp Kyiv is aimed at beginners, who have just started using Drupal and wish to learn something, and also it is aimed at the professional web-developers, that can share their experience and chat in a friendly and professional circle of specialists. The conference will also be an interesting place for communication between developers and internet-project managers, who are interested in using Drupal in their businesses.
The key mission of DrupalCamp Kyiv is development and strengthening of Drupal community in Eastern Europe. It’s focused on involving developers into active contribution in Drupal, sharing their knowledge and practical expertise with new users and increasing awareness about Drupal and its opportunities for the wide amount of Internet projects among developers and users.

Conference Program
Drupal users from the region will have an opportunity to hold presentations for the Drupal community on 3 parallel agenda tracks. Over two days of conference will be held around 50 presentations, discussions and master classes aimed on both developers and Drupal users.
Attendance at the DrupalCamp Kyiv is free upon registration on site.

First Day. August 28th
Two parallel tracks of presentations focused on new users – introduction to Drupal, how-to trainings. At the same time will be hold Drupal code sprint.

Second day. August 29th
Three parallel agenda tracks mostly aimed on professional Drupal developers, case-studies, round tables on topic “Drupal in Eastern Europe, what is next?”
